WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, by
its resolution, C.F. 254171 adopted Ma.y 21, 1971, condemned
Lots 24 and 25, Block 4, Como Prospect Addition and awarded
for dama.ges for said taking the sum of $3,000.00, this land
being acquired for the development of Loeb Lake Park; and
WHEREAS, the owners have failed to establish their
ownership and right to the award by giving to the City deeds
of conveyance and owner' s duplicate certificate of title; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney recommends that in this event
payment of the award be made to the taxing districts and the
District Court in accordance with law; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does _
hereby direct the City Attorney to pay all real estate taxes
and assessments due and owing against Lots 24 and 25, Block 4,
Como Prospect Addition and pay the balance of said condemnation
award to the Clerk of District Court.

As part of the development of the Loeb Lake Open
Space Project the City condemned Lots 24 and 25,
Block 4, Como Prospect Addition and awarded as
damages for this taking the amount of $3,000.00
pursuant to resolution, C.F. 254171 adopted May
21, 1971. This office has been in contact with
the attorney for the owner of this property attempt-
ing to obtain necessary deeds of conveyance and
affidavit of ownership and has been unable to
obtain the same. Therefore, it is our recommenda-
tion that the City pay all outstanding real estate
taxes and assessments against this property and
then pay the balance of the condemnation award to
the District Court, whereafter the owners ma.y apply
to the Court for distribution of the proceeds. To
effectuate this request we have prepared the reso-
lution which is attached hereto and request that
the ity Council ap rove same.
