RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort Liability
Fund 09070-420-000, to Richard J. Schmidt, the sum of
$48.50, in full settlement of his claim of damages
sustained on or about February 20, 1973, as more
particularly set out in a communication to the City
Council on Ma.rch 16, 1973 .

MEMORANDUM
CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY RICHARD J. SCHMIDT
Claimant requests payment for personal injuries sustained
while crossing Sixth Street and Wabasha Street on
February 20, 1973. Claima.nt twisted ankle and fell to
ground while walking across street because of a pot hole.
Expenses include medical bills. Liability is on the
part of the City.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Schmidt' s
claim in the amount of $4 8.50.
