WHEREAS, this Council has previously pledged its support
and diligent search for funds to provide match monies for the You�i�
Service Bureau program as a new division of the Department of
Community Services , and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has examined the City budget
and determined that there are sufficient funds to provide match
monies for the fiscal year July 1, 1973, through June 30, 1974,
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul
(1) That the City Council hereby approves the proposed
program� submitted by the City Administrator by letter
� of MaX 16, 1973, attached to and made a part of Youth
� Service Grant Application No. G-26-73-PR,
(2) That the City Council hereby expresses its intent and
commitment to fund said program upon approval by the
Governor' s Crime Commission in a total amount not to
exceed $120,000. 00 for the fiscal year commencing
July 1, 1973, and terminating June 30, 1974, payable
in such installments as are recommended by the City
Administrator.
(3) That a copy of this Resolution be submitted forthwith
by the City Clerk to Miss Cynthia Turnure, Chief
Planner, Governor's Crime Commission, for submission
with Grant Application G-26-73-PR.
