Workrsec��lto pave spectator areas to prepare for the upcoming season at Midway Stadium
was added to this contract to ensure its completion prior to the baseball season. The
paving work at the stadium is the same type of work as that being done at the West
Minnehaha site.

Spectators will be able to safely walk around the bleachers during all events, even when

A. Re-grade existing gravel material to improve
drainage. All excess material to be stockpiled
on-site.
B. Place a 2" asphalt wearing course around botn
• bleachers (approximately 5,800 S.F.) and at rear
gate entering stadium {approximately 820 S.F.).

VOLUNTARY ALTERNATE:
If, durinq the grading operation, soft areas are found,
they will be excavated, replaced with Class 5, and
re-compacted. This work will be billed at $25.00/ton.
