Piram, Superintendent of P r -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attached please find a Council Resolution authorizing installation of an electronic flagpole at Cathedral Park. The Minnesota Safety Council is erecting this flagpole as a memorial to commemorate the funding of the School Safety Patrol in St. Paul. This monument was informally approved two or three years ago and somehow never received official approval. We have et with Mr. Robert An.derson and discussed the proect, and have no ob3ections to the location. The Minnesota Safety Council will pay for all costs of construction and installation, as well as maintain, repair and operate the flagpole after it is installed. They would like to have the dedication for this monument the first week in June, and if it is possible we would like to get the Council Resolution on the agenda for Friday, Ma.y 18. If additional information is needed, please contact me. R.P.P. cm
