THE COUNC�L OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Section 390.01 of the 5aint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by striking and deleting all of Section 390.01 as it now exists and substituting in lieu thereof Section 390.01 as follows: 390.01. Transferability and A proval of Council. No license issued by t e City o Saint Pau s a e transferable unless the specific chapter of the Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to each specific license shall provide for and allow a transfer of such license. No transfer of any license issued by the City of Saint Paul shall be effective until the Council of the City of Saint Paul has approved the transfer following a public hearing before the License Committee of the Saint Paul City Council. Section 2. That Section 390. 04 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by striking and deleting all of Section 390.04 as it now exists and substituting in lieu thereof Section 390.04 as follows: 390.04. Section 3. Chapter 390 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is amended by addi.ng the following section: 390. 05. Transfer Def'iried. Transfer as used in this Chapter shall inc ude a trans er from person to person, or from place to place, or a transfer of stock in a corporate licensee. Transfer as used in this Chapter shall not include the instance where a license is held by an individual or partnership and the transfer is by said individual or partnership to a corporation in which the majority of the stock is held by said individual or by the members of said partnership, nor in those cases where a transfer of a license is made by the individual holding said license to some other member of said licensee's family. 390. 06. Assignyment of Ri hts. In the case of a transfer from person to person, t e application for transfer shall be accompanied by a written assignment of a11 rights of the original licensee in and to the license and shall be accompanied by a surety bond in amounts and in form required of an original licensee. 390. 07. Transfer of S�tock of P�blic Corporations. Notwithstanding ot er provisions of this chapter, public�x. owned corporations whose stock is traded in i , � i » . ' � 261��6 Page 3. the open market may comply with the transfer require- ments pertaining to sto�,k ownership and stock transfer by furnishing the Counc�l with the names and addresses of all stockholders of `record upon each renewal of the license. 390. 08. Affidavit of Transferor.
