RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-420-000, to Delbert A. Vann, the
sum of $18.00, in full settlement of his claim of
damages sustained on or about December 26, 1972, as
more particularly set out in a communication to the City
Council on January 17, 1973.

CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY DELBERT A. VANN
Claimant requests payment for private property damaged
because of a plugged city sewer main. Expenses are for
the fee charged by a private plumber who discovered
the cause of back-up. Liability is on the part of the
City.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Vann' s clai.m
in the amount of $18.00.
