WHEREAS, the Ma.yor and City Council desire to
obtain ma.ximum citizen participation in the affairs
of local government; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul hereby concurs in the recommendation of the
Mayor and creates a committee on citizen participation
to consider the relationship of community groups to
City government and submit to the Ma.yor and City Council
a written report thereon outlining such considerations
as the committee determines will be helpful to the Mayor
and City Council in considering the participation of
various citizen groups in the local government process;

FURTHER RESOLVED, that in accordance with Section
3.0,1.8 of the Saint Paul City Charter, the Council of the
City of Saint Paul hereby approves the following appoint-
men.ts of the Mayor to the committee on citizen participation
to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor:
