1 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council imposed adverse acrion against the sign
2 contractor's license held by DeLite Outdoar Advertising, Ina (License ID#: TR 1344) under
3 Council File # O1-843, ordering that the license be suspended until such time as the biliboazd at
4 I-94 and Vandalia has been removed and a permit fees for repairs to the billboard at 1651 Pierce
5 Butler Route have been paid; and

WHBREAS, in a separate action in Ramsey County District Court (DeLite Outdoor
Advertising, Inc. vs. The City of Saint Paul, Court File # C6-01-4824) the City was ordered
to grant a variance far the sign at I-94 and Vandalia, which was the subject of the adverse action,
to DeLite Outdoar Advertising; and
WHEREAS, the granting of said variance causes the issues in the adverse action related
to the I-94 and Vandalia sign to be moot, and the licensee is prepazed to pay the permit fees for
the Pierce Butler sign; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the adverse acrion taken against the sign contractor's license held by
DeLite Outdoor Advertising, Ina (License ID#: TR 1344) under Council File # O1-843 is
hereby rescinded based upon the Order granting a variance to DeLite in DeLite Outdoor
Advertising, Inc. vs. The City of Saint Paul, Court File # C6-01-4824 for the sign at I-94 and
Vandalia and the payxnent of the permit fees for the sign at 1654 Pierce Butler Route.
