Erickson Company and that there are no lien holders of record; and that it is further determined that the above described building constitutes a hazardous building within the definition of Minnesota Statutes Section 463.15 for the following reasons : a. The exterior condition of the building is as follows: The chimney has loose brick and the roof is patched and is sagging. The cornice, windows, doors, frames and siding are decayed. The front stairs are of makeshift construction and the porch deck is deteriorated; c. The interior condition of the building is as follows: There is smoke and fire dama.ge. The two rooms and bath are vandalized. The sheet rock has been broken and the door frames and �,00rs are missing. Window sash and cabinets are broken. he basement ceiling is water damaged; d. The building in the above condition is beyond reasonable repair; e. The building is unfit for human habitation in its present condition and the above corrections must be ma.de in compliance with the Building Code and the Housing Code of the City of Saint Paul in order to ma.ke the same habitable; f. The building constitutes a nuisance and a hazard to the public health, safety and welfare because of its physical damage, dilapidation and inadequate maintenance; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Sections 463. 15 through 463. 26, and based upon the foregoing findings of the City Council, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make the following order: ORDER 1. The owner of the above described building shall ma.ke the same safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfare by having the said building razed and the materials therefrom removed from the premises within thirty (30) days from the date of the service of this Order; 2. In the event that the building is to be razed by the City of Saint Paul pursuant to judgment of the District Court, all personal property or fixtures which may unreasonably interfere with the razing and removal of this building shall be removed within ten (10) days from the entry of judgment; and if not so removed, the City of Saint Paul shall remove and dispose of such personal property and fixtures as provided by law; 4. The Housing and Redevelopment Authority does not plan to acquire this property. The subject property has been boarded up by the owner since December 14, 1971.
