Resolved that permission be and is herebq granted to the Northwestem Bell
Telephone Company to make necessary excavations for and to place and hereafter
maintain a conduit and manhole sqstem reinforcements as follows:
Beginning at Prescott Street, south along Oakdale Avenue to Annapolis
Street. The conduit system to be located approximately 13 feet to 17
feet +east of west property line of Oakdale Avenue. One portion, be-
tween Baker and Winona Streets to be at 24 feet east of the west pro-
perty line of Oakdale Avenu� t�o clear existing water structures.
This permission shall also be conditioned as follows:

1. Northwestera Bell Telephone Co. anfl their contractor shall not �
open and leave open a trench loager than one city block and
shall surface or be in the process of surfacing said trench prior � ¢
to opening the trench in the next block. The backfilling shall �_
proceed immediately after the placing of conduit with an
approved granular material such as Class 5 or crushed rock. � �,

2. In the case of inclement weather the City reseroes the right to �=
�� order the contractor to cease all operations of excavation and
a�� to immediately proceed wlth the surfacing of the open trench
� with bituminous material.
