In the matter of changing the grade of the alley in Block 10, Butterfield Syndicate
Addition No. 1, froan St. Albans Street to Da1e Street to conform to the grade as
shown on the profile on file in the Department of Public Works. Also, condeaniing
and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills, including
right of removal of lateral support fram subject land or remainder thereof, occasioned
by excavations thereof, or coastruction of slopes in the grading and surfacing with
bituminous material the alleq in Block 10, Butterfield Syndicate Addition No. 1, from
St. Albans Street to Dale Street. Also, co�struct a sewer in the alley for storm water
purposes (G-1997),

The Commissioner of Finance having sub�itted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awaxded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also havin� submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
F�esolved, That the said asse�sament of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved furthei, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
