release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers a.re
hereby authvrized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Lia.bility Fund 09070-420-000, to:
1. Joseph W. Guion for David G. Guion, his son, the
sum of $60.45 in full settlement of their claim
of damages susta.ined on or a.bout October 5, 1973,
as more pa.rticularly set out in a communication to
the City Council on October 30, 1973.
2. John A. Deane the sum of $60.00 in full settlement
of his claim of damages susta,ined on or about
March 13, 1974, a.s more particularly set out in a
communica.tion to the City Council on April 18, 1974.

MEMORANDUM
CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL..
BY JOSEPH W, GUION FOR DAVID G. GUION,
HIS SON, AND JOHt�T A. DEANE
C].aimant, David G. Guion, by his father Joseph W. Guion,
requests reimbursement for medical bills and repair costs
to his 5-speed Schwinn bike which were incurred as a
result of an accident on October 5, 1973. David was
thrown fm m his bike when he hit a pot hole while traveling
west on Old Hudson Road between Kennard and Birmingham.
Liability is on the pa.rt of the City. This office approves
the settlement of the Guion' s claim in the amount of $60.45.
Claimant, John A. Deane, requests reimbursement for part
of the storage charges he paid as a result of the length
of time it took the police to notify him that h�:s trailer
was at the St. Pa.ul Impounding Lot. The trailer was
brought into the lot on March 13, 1974, and Mr. Dea.ne wa.s
not notified until April 11, 1974, that his trailer was
on the lot. Liability is on the part of the City. This
office approves the settlement of Mr. Deane' s claim in
the amount of $60.00.
