M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY RUBEN A. MUELLER, P. F. KOUBELE,
AND THE ST. PAUL COMPANIES
Claimant, Ruben A. Mueller, through his attorne, Harold S.
Renfrew, requests reimbursement of expenses for medical
bills incurred as the result of an accident with a St. Paul
Police vehicle on January 7, 1974. Mr. Mueller was a.
passenger in the vehicle hit by the St. Paul Police car.
Lia.bility is on the part of the City. This office approves
the settlement of Mr. Mueller' s claim in the amount of
$6�4.00.
Claimant, P. F. Koubele, and his insurance company,
Security Mutual Ca,sualty Company, request reimbursement
for excessive storage charges at the St. Paul Impounding
Lot. Mr. Koubele was notified his vehicle was on the lot
after it had been reported stolen and recovered. The
prosecuting attorneys office in Stillwater wanted the
vehicle held until a suspect made a court appearance.
Mr. Koubele was told he would not be charged for this
extra ti.me. When he sent a tow truck to pick up his car,
he was charged $30.00 more than he had been told. Liability
is on the part of the City. This office approves the
settlement of Mr. Koubele' s claim in the amount of $30.00.
Claimant, St. Paul Companies, requests reimbursement of
payments made to their insured, Mabel Eggert, for damages
incurred when Ms. Eggert' s vehicle was involved in an
accident with a St. Paul Police vehicle..on Ja.nuary 5, 1974.
Liability is on the part of the City. This office approves
the settlement of the St . Paul Companies' claim in the
amount of $171.37. ..-�
