RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Sai�it Paul does hereby
commend the Minnesota Fighting Saints for their economic contribution
to the City of Saint Paul and also for the entertainment they have
provided not only to the citizens of Saint Paul but the entire metropolitan
area and the State of Minnesota as a whole.
FURTHER RESOLVED, That John Finley, as President, and the other
original owners be thanked for their perseverance and leadership in the
face of economic hardship and for having faith in the club, its supporters
� and the. City until additional financial funds could be found.
The Council would also like to wish Wayne Belisle and the new owners
every success in the future and thank the many faithful fans for their
enthusiastic support of the team.
FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
the Minnesota Fighting Saints.
