That the salary increase contained in said Memorandum of Agreement shall take force and effect retroactively to the first day of January, 1974, in accordance with the award granted by a State Arbitration panel dated March 20, 1974, and in accordance with the expressed intent and agreement of this Council contained in Council File No. 262768 . Section 3 . That all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement shall take force and effect retroactively to the lst day of January, 1974, in accordance with the expressed intent and agreement of this Council contained in Council File No. 262851. � Section 4. This constitutes a tentative agreement between the parties which will be recom*nended by the City Negotiator, but is subject to the approval of the Administration of the City and the City Coi,!zci1. (Total of twenty-one (21) days vacation. ) (b) For those employees with twenty-five (25) years or more of service, add �wo days' paid vacation to present scheclule. (Total of twenty-two (22) days vacation. ) 12. Lffective January 1, 1974, the salary applicable to each class of position in the bargaining unit shall be increased by seven and one-half (7�) percent. 13.
