WHEREAS, the Comp rehens i ve C i ty Demonstra-h i on Prog ram, here i n
referred to as the "Comprehensive Program," for the I�bdel Neighborhood of
the City of Saint Paul was approved by resolution of the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has agreed to enter into an
extended transition phase of the Comprehensive Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is in support of the concept
of Model Cities in the types of projects it has established over the past
years throughout the country;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL.VED, by the Council of the City of
Saint Paul that: We support the National (�lodel Cities Community Development
Directors Association in their efforts to receive maximum total funding
from the Federal Government, for Model Cities Programs, until Community-
Development Revenue-Sharing comes into existence.
