WHEREAS, An Ordinance, C.F. No. 263220, granting permission to
Twin City Federal Savings and Loan Association to construct, operate
and maintain a parking ramp encroachment into Minnesota Street between
Sixth Street and Seventh Street has been prepared and introduced to the
Council of the City of St. Paul, an wi 1 be adopted on March 27, 1974
to be effective eventually on _ ; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That pending the said Ordinance becoming effective, the
Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to issue
a permit to Twin City Federal Savings and Loan Association, its assigns
and/or successors in interest for the construction, operation and main-
tenance of said parking ramp encroachment, subject to the same conditions
and requirements as set out in Ordinance C.F. No. 263220 pending before
the Council of the City of St. Paul , informal approval of the construc-
tion, operation and maintenance of said parking ramp encroachment being
hereby given in anticipation of the final adoption and approval of said
Ordinance.

Dear Mayor Cohen:
Attached for your consideration and approval for submission ta the City
Council is a proposed Resolution authorizing permission for the Twin
City Federal Savings and Loan Association to construct, operate and
maintain a parking ramp on the northeast corner of Minnesota St, and
Sixth St. The parking ramp will be in two levels, with the upper level
at street surface. The lower level will extend its facilities by ten
feet into the Minnesota St. right-of-way. 11�e upper level will be en-
tirely on private property.
An Ordinance, C. F. No. 263220, granting permission to Twin City Federal
for said parking ramp encroachment has been prepared and introduced to
the City Council and will be adopted on March 27, 1974. This proposed
Resolution will grant informal approval of said encroachment, as per
Ordinance, C. F. No. 263220.
All costs and expenses will be assumed by the permittee and complete sat- �
isfaction by Public Works is a requirement of the Ordinance. We would
appreciate your review and approval .
