RESOLVED, That David Olsen, dba Taco John' s be and
hereby is granted a permit to relax drive-way spacing
requirements in connection with a fast food restaurant on
property located at the southeast corner of Mendota and
Maryland Avenues, more particularly described as follows :
West 30 feet of Lot 13, all of 14 and
15, Block 2, Eastville Heights Addition;
all in accordance with plans dated Received November 30, 1973;
subject to the following conditions :
l. That said applicant-permittee, and his
successors and assigns, shall make due
compliance with all applicable provisions

Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application of David Olsen dba Taco John's
for a pextnit for a fast food restaurant, and his appeal to relax the driveway
spacing requirement, on property located on the southeast corner of Mendota
and Maryland. This property is further described as follows:
West 30 feet of Lot 13, all of 14 and 15, Block 2, Eastville
Heights Addition.
This matter was first heard at the December 6, 1973, Board of Zoning public
hearing. Staff said the applicant requested the the matter be laid over and
the staff concurred with this.
A motion was made and seconded to lay over this meeting so the applicant could
meet with the City departments and neighborhood representative. The motion
carried unanimously.
This matter was again heard on January 10, 1974. Staff showed a copy of the
revised plan which was approved by the departments, and staff recammended
approval of the permit and appeal.
The applicant said they met with the neighbors and have come to an agreeia�snt
regarding trash and closing time and about the ingress on Mendota.
After discussion by the Board, a motion to recommend approval carried
unanimously,
Plans received November 30, 1973, meet design standards.
