WHEREAS pursuant to Resolution, C. F. No. 261504, approved June 21, 19�/3, a public hearing was duly held on July 5, 1973, before the Council of the City of S�int Paul, said h�axing per- taining to the condition of the structure located at 731 Ma.rshall, .Saint Paul, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, upon the facts presented at the hearing consisting of photographs, inspection reports and the recommendations of the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement it is found and determined by the City Council that according to the records and files in the office of the Register of Deeds, the last record owner of the above property, pursuant to a mortgage foreclosure sale held November 16, 1972, is the Paul Revere Life Insurance Company, and that there has been an unrecorded transfer of title to the Veteran' s Administration as of Januaxy 10, 1973; and that there are no lien hold ers of record; and that it is further determined that the above described building is a hazardous building within the definition of Minnesota Statutes Section 463. 15 for the following reasons: COUIVCILMEN Yeas ' Nays Requested by Department of: Hunt Konopatzki In Favor Levine Meredith Against BY Sprafka Tedesco Mme.President Butler Form Approved by City Attorney Adopted by Council: Date Certified Passed by Council Secretary BY By Approved by Maxor: Date Approved by Mayor for Submission to Council By BY , �s��s� a. The building is standing vacant, abandoned and is subject to being entered by unauthorized persons; b. The garage is severely deteriorated and in a dangerous condition. The roof covering and the siding are missing and the doors are broken. The studs have been knocked off the foundation on the south side; c. The garage in the above condition is beyond reasona.ble repair; d. The garage constitutes a�nuisance and a hazard to the public health, safety and welfare because of its physical dama.ge, dilapidation and inadequate ma.intenance; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 througl� 463.2f�, and based upon the f oregoing f indings of the City Council, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make the following Order: ORDER ..,_ �,.4�,.- _ 1. The owners of th� above described garage shall ma.ke the �'`�"`� same safe and not detrimental to the public peace, hsalth, safety and welfare by having the said garage razed and the ' ������ materials therefrom removed from the premises within thirty (30) days from the date of the service of this Order; 2. Unle.ss such corrective action is taken to comp�.g with this Order or an answer ser�red upon the Cityr of Saint Paul and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the District Court of Ramsey County, Minnesota, within twenty (20) days from the date of the service of thi� Order, a Motion for Summary Enforcement of this Order to raze and remove the said garage will be ma.de to the Ramsey County Aistrict Court; 3.
