RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be a.pproved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay ou t of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-420-000, to:
1. Thomas S. Jackson the sum of $269.55 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
December 5, 1973, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on December 11, 1973.
2. George B. Leitner the sum of $82.00 in full settle-
ment of his claam of damages sustained on or about
November 2, 1973, as more particularly set out in
a communication to the City Council on November 16, 1973.

CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY THOMAS S. JACKSON AND GEORGE B. LEITNER
Cla.imant, Thoma,s S. Jackson, was involved in a.n accident
with a Saint Paul Department of Public Works vehicle on
December 5, 1973. Liability is on the part of the City.
Expenses are for the repair of the dama.ged vehicle.
This office approves the settlement of Mr. Jackson' s claim
in the amount of $269.55.
George B. Leitner requests pa.yment for private property
damaged by a City of Saint Paul tree trimming crew.
Lia.bility is on the pa.rt of the City. Expenses are for
the replacement of a. gutter. This office a.pproves the
settlement of Mr. Leitner' s claim in the amount of $82.00.
