WHEREAS, upon facts presented by the Buildi ng Department of the City of Saint Paul, consisting of photographs and inspection reports, it is found and determined by the City Council that according to the record.s and files in the office of the Register of Deeds� the last record owners of the above described property are the Estate of August F`redine and Lee R. Caxlson is the contract purchaser and that the property'ha:s been forfeited to the State for �a5ces as of August 23, 1973, and that the County of Ramsey is now holding the land for the State; and that it is further determined tha.t the abov� building and shed constitute hazardous buildings within the definition of Mi-r�Mesota, Sta,tutes Section 463.1s for the following reasons: a. There are some holes in the roof. The northwest corner of the foundation has eroded mortar joints and requires tuck pointing; e. The interior condition of the building is as follows: The interior has been vandalized. Electric wiring is in need of repair and is below required standard.s. The kitchen plumbing has been vandalized; d. The building in the above condition is beyond reasonable repair; e. The building is unfit for human habita,tion in its present condition and the above corrections must be made in compliance with the Building Code and the Housing Code of the City of Saint Paul in order to make the same ha,bitable; f. The building constitutes a nuisance and a ha.zard to the public health, safety and welfaxe because of its physical. damage, dilapidation and inadequate maintena.nce; �. There is an 8' x 10' frame shed at the ba.ck of the lot which ha.s dry rot, a collapsed roof and is leaning out of plumb; now, therefore, be it hereby RESOLVED, that the appropriate City officers communicate their findings to the County of Ramsey and tha,t the County of Ramsey be requested to correct the hazaxdous condition of the structures; and, be it FtJRTHER RF�OLVED� That a certified copy of this resolution be served upon the last record owners of the above property by mail.
