An administrative ordinance approving
--- the terms and conditions of a collective bargain-
ing agreement between the City of Saint Paul
. and International Union of Operating Engineers,
Locals 36 and 967.
WHE���.�, 1-,�.e Council pursuant to the provisions of Section
12. 09 of the` Saint Paul City Charter and the Public Emp�oyment Labor
Relations Act of 1971, as amended 1973, recognizes International Union
of Operating Engineers Locals 36 and 967 as the exclusive representa:-
tives for those classes of positions within the City of Saint Paul certified
by the Bureau of Mediation Services in Case No. 73-PR-449-A for the
purpose of ineeting and negotiating the terms and conditions of employ�rlent
- for all full-time personnel in said classes of positions as set forth in an,
Agreement between the City and the exclusive representatives hereinabove
referenced; and
WHE�tEAS, the City through designated representatives and the
exclusive repreaentatives ha.ve met in good faith and negotiated the terms
and conditions of employment for the calendar year of 1974 for such
personnel as are set forth in the "Memorandum of Agreement" between
the City and the exclusive representatives, now, therefore

Section 1.
That the "Memorandum of Agreement" dated as of the effec�ive
date of this ordinance between the City of Saint Paul ax�.d Internatiox�al
Union of Operating Engineers Locals 36 and 967 on file in the office of
the City Clerk i��kiereby approved, and the authorized administrative
officials of the City are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
"Memorandum of Agreement" on behalf of the City.

Section 2. '
That all of the terms and conditions set forth in said Memorandum
of Agreement' shall take force and effect retroactively to the first pay
period for the City employees for the year of 1974 in accordance with the
expressed intent and agreement of the Council contained in Council Fi�e
No. 262768 and 262851.

Section 3.
That any other Ordinance, rule or regulation in force when said
agreement takes effect, inconsistent with any provision of the terms and
conditions of said agreement, is hereby repealed.
Section 4.
That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days after its passage, approval and publication.
