WHEREAS, the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul
owns ninety-two acres of land in the Crosby Lake Area which
the City of Saint Paul desires to lease from the Port Authority
for park, recreational and educational purposes for a term of
thirty years; and
W�IEREAS, the Port Authority, by resolution, has agreed
to lease the ninety-two acres of land in the Crosby Lake Area,
more particularly described in the Lease Agreement negotiated
between the City of Saint Paul and the Port Authority for a
nomina.l consideration, provided however, said land is used by
the City of Saint Paul for park, recreational and educational
purposes; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized to execute a Lease Agreement between the City of
Saint Paul and the Saint Paul Port Authority for the ninety-two
acres of land in the Crosby Lake Area for par�, recreational
and educational purposes.

Re: Lease of Port Authority in Crosby Lake
to City of Saint Paul
Dear Councilman Roedler:
Attaehed hereto is a Council Resolution whereby the
City Council authorizes the proper City officials to
execute a Lease Agreement between the City of Saint
Paul and the Saint Paul Port Authority for the
ninety-two acres of land in the Crosby Lake area for
park, recreationa.l and educational purposes. As you
are well aware, the Port Authority, at its June 18-,
1974 meeting, by resolution approved this Lease be-
tween the City of Saint Paul and the Saint Pau1 Port
Authority. I am hereby requesting that you present
this Council Resolution to the Saint Paul City Council
via the City Clerk' s Office.
