W HEREAS, Lifetime Fitness would like to donate used, discarded exercise equipment to the Department of Fire and
Safety Services valued at approximately $5,600.00; and
W HEREAS, the Department of Fire and Safety Services would like to accept this donation from Lifetime Fitness; and
WHEREAS, this equipment will bz used to enhance the physical fitness of the Saint Paul firefighters; and
W HEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to provide assistance to the City of Saint Paul and its residents in
ensuring the physiological readiness of its fire department; and
NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul,
accept this generous donation from Lifetime Fitness and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
