Graduated from University of Minnesota with Bachelor of Science in
Ausiness degree that was awarded with high distinction. Completed
tlie accounting sequence and attained a GPA of 3.7. Studies after
graduation included courses in the fields of computer ecience, meth,
statiatics and systems and procedures.
WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Organization: St. Paul Department of Conununity Services

Duties: Assisted the Department Director on Administrative matters
involving the operations of the Divisions of Health, Libraries,
Building Inepection, and Parks and Recreation.
2. Organization: Ramsey County Administrators Office
Address: St. Paul City Hall Title: Administrative Analyst
Duration: November 1971 to July 1973 Salar : $16,800
Duties: Conducted surveys of operaCions in county departments
and recommended changes in procedures and organization. During
the course of the surveys, applied the principal management
analysis techniques including job analysis, work flow charts,
� work simplification procedures, work distribution analysis,
and space allocation. Established controls over administrative
projects, including the use of project logs, project description
sheets and critical path charts.

Address: Washington D.C. Title: Director, Revenue Analysis Division
Duration: July �1966 to June 1971 Salary: $24,300
Duties: Directed the operations of the Revenue Analysis Branch of
the Division of Revenue and Cost Analysis in the Finance Department,
Principal function was to determine the amount of revenue generated
by each class of mail in the Postal Service. This information was
used in rate cases before the Interstate Commerce Commission,
Congressional Committees, and later the Postal Rate Commission.
Developing the information required extensive use of statistical
sampling techniques and computer applications.

statistical classifications. Provided instructions on cost and
� � revenue anelysis procedures through manuals, programmed learning
texta, and seminars to e large number of employees in field
� installations. Exercised early retirement option to return to

4. Or�anization: Regional Office of Post Office Department
Address: Minneapolis, Minn. Title: Assistant Coat Officer
� Duration: , July 1956 to July 1966 Salary: $12,000 �
Duties: Conducted cost studies over the four-state area of Minn-
esota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota. Installed work '
measurement programs at the larger post offices and help establish
work performance standards. Prepared portions of the regional
budget pertaining to workload, anticipated work hours, and
productivity rates. Reviewed workload estimates and work hour requests
submitted by post offices, and made adjustments as required. Installed
a cost-based budgeting system at the larger post offices. •
