MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
Attached please find a resolution for your consideration,
that if approved, will continue the City' s self insured
status insofar as our liability is concerned in motor
vehicle accidents.
No-fault insurance which takes effect January 1, 1975,
provides that cities with a self-insured status, as
St. Paul has been for so many years, now formally apply
to the State Insurance Commissioner for such a continued
status. This resolution, if approved, will allow
the Mayor to execute the proper application form on
behalf of the City and forward it to the State Insurance
Commissioner for his consideration.
