WF�REAS� The City of St. Paul, aeting through its Valuation Engineer� has
secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described as
fo]laws:
Lots 32 and 33, Block 4� Hayden Heights
WHEREAS, The praperty described herein is necessary for the I�yden Heights
Library Site acquis�.tion as approved by Administrative Order No. D-1129 and
Final Order� C.F. 2635�+5, approved Nla.y 22, 1974� and the price at which the
property may be purchased is at the amount of $27,500, being a fair and reason-
able price according to the appraisal obtained by the City Valua.tion Engineer;
and,
W�ItEAS� The City Valuation Engineer has reca�nanended the purchase of se.id
property at the price stated above; nrnar, therefore, be it
RESOLVID� That the Council of the City of St. Paul does hereby authorize
the purchase of the above described land, and be it �
� RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby authorized and
dixeeted to pay to N�e Digaetano, record fee awner, the sum of $27�500. Sa.id
stimm to be paid frmn PIft Fund Code 60000-502-000 (L-7652), to be reimbursed from
CIB Fund 93073-�+60-052. The payment to be n�de upon the City being furnished
evidence of �ood marketable title in the aforesa.id vendors, and the total pay-
ment to be a�de upon tender by said parties of appropriate deeds conveying title
to said property to the City of St. Paul.

Pursuant to Final Order, C. F. 2635�+5, aPProved l�.y 22, 1974�
authorizing and directir� this office to acquire property necessary
for the subject project, I have secured an a�reement with Mae
Digaetano, cn�mer of the property described on the attached resolution.
The priee at which sa.id property may be purchased is at the amount
of $27,500, which in my opinion is a faix and reasonable price.
I recoffinend approval of the authoriza.tion of the purchase of said
property in lieu of condemnation, at the price of $27,500, and submit
herewith for your approval and submission to the City Council, a
resolution authorizing said purchase.
