RE: Registered Bill Number B-01877
This bill arises out of the accident between a Metropolitan
Transit Commission bus and a traffic signal owned by the
City at the intersection of 6th and St. Peter Streets. The
MTC bus was forced off the road by an unidentified vehicle
which left the scene of the accident. In view of the fact
that the identity of the owner and driver of the vehicle
which caused the accident is unknown and liability on the
part of MTC, if any, is questionable this office recommends
settlement in the amount of 50% of the bill.
