WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, by its
final order Council Resolution C.F. 255873, authorized the
improvement of Maryland Avenue from Abell Street to I-35E
(City Project P-0526A & B) which final order contemplated
assessments of a portion of the work to be completed there-
under; and
WHEREAS, The City Council, by Resolution C.F. 261758,
approved July 26, 1973, approved the award of contract for
the construction of l�aryland Avenue and includ�id partial
financing of the project by assessments in the amount of
$15,000.00; and
I�► WHEREAS, The City Council, by Resolution C.F. 262331,
approved October 9, 1973, deleted the proposed financing by
eliminating the assessment of $15,000.00 and included that
amount to be financed by County Aid Funds; and
WHEREAS, The Council is now informed that `there will
not be sufficient County Aid Funds available and it will be
necessary to assess the $15,000.00 against the benefitted
property; now, therefore, be it
R�S4-LVED, That the above stated resolutions be and are
hereby amended to include a proposed assessment in the amount
of $15,000.00 for Pro ect identified as S-1468 and reducing
the a�ppropriation of �15,000.00 from County �Aid Funds financing.
