THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Section 285 . 01 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code , which presently reads : "No person shall inhale , breathe , drink or otherwise take into the body any compound, liquid or ehemical containing toluol , �iexane , trichloroethylene , acetone , toluene , ethyl acetate , methyl ethyl ketone , trichoro- � athane , isop.ropanol , methyl isobutyl ketone , methyl celTosolve acetate , cycclohexanone , or any other subatance capable of inducing intoxication, elation, dizziness� parlysis , irrational behavior or, in any manner, distorting or changing the audio, visual or mental processes . For the purposes of this section, any such condition �o induced shall be deemed to be an intoxicated condition; provided, however, that the provisions of this section shall not apply to any person who inhales, breathes � or drinks such material or substance pursuant to the direction or prescription of any doctor , physician, surgeon, � dentist , or podiatrist authorized to so direct or prescribe . '� Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty days from and after its passage , approval and publication. Section 3. This ordinance shall be deemed a part of the Saint Paul Legislative Code , and shall be incorporated therein and given an appropriate chapter and�or section nu�ber at the time of the next revision of said Legislative Code .
