City of Saint Paul, Minnesota
Dear President Hunt and Council Members:
I herewith transmit for your consideration a resolution approving
my appointment of David Ron Maddox as a member of the Housing
and Redevelopment Authority, for a five-year term to expire
September 15, 1979.
Since you received a copy of Mr. Maddox' s extensive resume
when I appointed him to the Planning Commission, I have taken
the liberty of not enclosing a resume for this appointment.
Mr. Maddox has already resigned from the City Planning Commission
at my request, and has indicated a willingness to play an active
role on this important Board. He has, in addition, met with the
Joint PAC Council at the invitation of Mr. William Rupp, and has
I extensively discussed with the PAC representatives his ideas and
feelings about the HRA and its programs.
I look forward tQ your approval of this appointment, feeling sure
that Mr. Maddox will play a dynamic and knowledgeable part in the
, activities of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of
'I Commissioners.
