Sea 16136, the Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as Agent of the City of Saint Paul to accept as its agent, federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible transportation related projects. BE IT FURTfIER RESOLVED, the Mayor and the Director of Public Works are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to execute and enter anto an agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in "Minnesota Deparhnent of Transportation Agency Agreement No. 84005", a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part thereof by reference. WHY)� The Phalen Boulevard Project is partially funded with federal TEA-21 high priority project funds. Engineering and inspecrion costs are an eligible cost for these funds. In order to get reimbursed for the federal funds, an agreement between the City and Mn/Dot has to be executed. ADVAMAGES IF APPROVED.
