WHEREAS, the City Marketing and Promorions division parinered with organizations to
commemorate the tragedy of September 11`� on Wednesday, September ll�` at Harriet Island; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council aclaiowledged the event and contributions in Council File 02-
779, adopted on August 28, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council want to thank the contributors listed below for their
contributions to offset costs of the event; and
WIiEREAS, the following contributions were donated:
Ramsey County, $2,500.00, Greater Saint Paul Owners and Managers, $1,000.00 , Wells Fargo,
$2,000.00; Fraunshuh, $10,000.00 and St. Paul Visitors and Convention Bureau, $1,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the City Charter, does certify that there are
funds of $17,000.00 auailable for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2002 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following changes to the 2002 budget;
