MEMORANDUM
CLAIM AGAINST ROGER C. BERGERSON BY THE
CITY OF SAINT PAUL
This accident , resulting in damage to a Saint Paul Police
squad car occurred at the intersection of 7th and Wabasha
Streets , Two police vehicles with sirens on had already
proceeded through the intersection when Mr. Bergerson
proceeded, assuming the sirens he heard to be those which
had already passed Wabasha proceeding East on 7th Street .
His vision to the left was obstructed by a bus and as he
proceeded across 7th Street the collision with the police
vehicle occurred. The police vehicle was proceeding
against the red light.
In view of the foregoing, it is our opinion that the City
was at least l0o negligent and recommend settlement at
90% of Registered Bill #3-7103.
