Assistant City Attorney
RE: Surety Bonds for sidewalks, trap doors , etc . '
here is the ordinance we spoke of last week ircreasing
the amount of the surety bond requirement for sidewalk,
trap door, etc. , construction.
In case anyone asks , the effect of the amendment on the
cost to the contractor of obtaining the $25 ,000 bond is
an increase from about $5 . 00 to $75 .
I think we nned this and appreciate your introducing it
soon.
