. WHEREAS, Additions which might prove to be necessary in the Improvement described as Improve-
ment of Streets, Alleys and Sidewalks in the SUMMIT-UNIVERSITY RENEWAL AREA; Also Construct a
Storm Sewer, Contract No. L-7581.-2, City Pro�ect Nos. 73-G-1997 and 73-5-0971G3A, Shafer
Contracting Company, Inc. , Contractor, have been provided for in the Specifications, and
Whereas, It has been found necessary to make the following Additions, as per Administrative
Order D-1220, dated April 15, �97�+, for Contract Change Agreement No. 1
Additions:
Construct asphalt boulevards at various commercial locations
129.3 sq. ya. @ $ 2.70 = $349.11
Tractor-Backhoe rental for relocating existing hydraxit at
Grotto and Central. 6 hours @ $ 20.00 = 120.00
Construct Type 2-b Catch Basins at Grotto and Central..
1 str�cture @ $350.00 = 350.00
Repair existing sewer service connections at 756 Fuller
Ave. and 766 Fuller Ave. equipment @ $183•5�

Application of water for dust control as per Minnesota Highway
Department Specification 2130. 160,000 gallons @ $ 5•5� = 880.00

WHEI�EAS, The total addition�is $2000.36, a�sd� the Dizectcar_af Fublic Works has agreed with the
Contractor that the amount of $2000.36 is the correct sum to be added to said contract,
therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul through its City Council approves the foregoing addition
ma.de in accordance with the Specifications in the sum of $2000.36, said amount to be added
to the lump sum consideration named in the contract, known as Contract No. L-758�-2, and
which a.mount is to be financed from Urban Renewal Bond Fund No. A-1-1.
