Cohen Mayor of the City of St. Paul Room 347 City Hall BUILDIPG Re: Ordinance-permit for the reconstruction of existing railroad tracks on Childs Road. Dear Mayor Cohen : Attached is a proposed ordinance granting permission to the Port Authority to reconstruct , operate and maintain railroad tracks on Childs Road. The existing tracks were present when the Childs Road right-of-way was dedicated to the City, however no permits or agreements were entered into at that time to permit their continued presence on pubtic property. The attached ordinance rectifies this situation as well as permitting the reconstruction. Also attached is a proposed Resolution, permitting construction prior to the final adoption and approval of the ordinance, provided that all the requirements of the ordinance have been met.
