Dear Mayor Cohen:
Attached is a resolution rescinding the orders to reconstruct sidewalk
on both sides of UNIVERSITY AVE. from Victoria St. to Milton St. Work was
not started on this order in 1973 and the schedule is such that it will not
be done this year. The order is causing hardship in the transfer of
property because of the pending assessment and rescinding at this time will
clear the records of the Finance Department.
This order will be reintroduced at a later time when H.R.A. plans for
the area are firmer and a number of orders for UniversitY Ave. can be
introduced.
