to the City Council on August 6, 1974.
4. Mrs. Welsey Brown the sum of $95.00 in full settlement

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY RICHA RD GRUBER, SHIRLEY N. NEAL,
MICHAEL KODLUBOY, AND MRS. WELSEY BROWN
Claimant, Richa.rd Gruber, was involved in a n accident
on June 6, 1974, at 35-E and Little Canada Road with
the Fire Chief' s car. Liability is on the part of the
City. This office approves the settlement of Mr. Gruber' s
claim in the amount of $300.00.
Claimant, Shirley N. Neal, requests payment of a hospital
bill incurred as the result of an accident at the Civic
Center during the Pop Concert on July 17, 1974. Ms. Neal
twisted her ankle when she tripped on the carpeting.
Liability is on the part of the City. This office a.pproves
the settlement of Ms. Neal' s claim in the amount of $27 .16.
Claimant, Michael Kodluboy, requests reimbursement for
difference he paid a sidewalk contractor to put in a side-
walk and what he would have been assessed if the City
would have issued its order for a new sidewalk sooner.
Liability is on the part of the City. This office approves
the settlement of Mr. Kodluboy' s cla.im in the amount of
$85.00.
Claimant, Mrs. Wesley Brown, requests payment for repair
of door and frame at 378 North Grotto Street which was
damaged when the Saint Paul Police was in the process of
arresting a suspect. Liability is on the part of the
City. This office approves the settlement of Mrs. Brown' s
claim in the amount of $95.00.
