1 WHEREAS, on August 28, 2002, the Council approved CF#-02-795 ("Resolution"), vacating
2 the underlying fee title to a portion of Toronto Street, which property is more particularly
3 described in the Resolution; and

5 WHEREAS, the Resolution further provided that the proper City officials are hereby authorized
6 and directed to dispose of the said property as provided in Chapter 51 of the Administrative
7 Code; and

9 WHEREAS, to expedite the housing development contemplated by the Resolution, the Council
10 now desires to dispose of the property directly to the Saint Paul Housing and Redevelopment

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that lines 16 through 18 of the Resolution are amended to
read as follows:
" that the underlying fee title of the above described part of Toronto Street is hereby vacated, and
the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to convey title to the property by quit
claim deed to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other terms and provisions of the Resolution remain in
effect.

he City of Saint Paul recently vacated a parcel of City-owned parkland (per CF 02-795). This resolution
ends the previous resolution by authorizing direct conveyance of the property to the I3RA to expedite the
ousing development contemplated by the first resolution.
