RESOLVED, That the Council �of the Gity of Saint Paul does
hereby approve the Grant Agreem t between the City and the
State of Minnesota Governor' s C mission on Crime Prevention and
�ontrol Yor the Project entitle "House By The Side OY The Road" '
total cost of �66,364, of which 42,030 is prov�ded from State
and Federal funds, the remainin �24, 334 is to be provided by
t�e House By The Side Of The Ro , for the grant period commencing
August 1, lg'74 through July 31, 1975 , and Be It Further
RESOLVED, that the proper ity officers are authorized and
directed to execute the Grant A ,reement on behalf of the City of
9aint Paul only if the House By The Side Of The Road agrees to
fulfill the following requireme ts:
� 1. Installation of accou ting procedures which meet
with the approval of �he Division of Accounting,
City of Saint Paul De iartment of Finance and
Management;
2. Restructure the Boa�d lof Directors of ��House By
The Side Of The Road" !to include representation
by the present Board jf Directors, a representatiye
of the Gity of St. Pa �l appointed by the Mayor,
. a representative of t e County Welfare Department
appointed by the C�un �y Board of Go�imissioners,
a representative of t �e St. Paul City Police
Department appointed �y the Mayor, a representative
of Ramsey County Courj Services appointed by its
Director, a represent 'tive of the St. Paul School
District appointed by !its Superintendant;
