WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of Ordinance No . 15425, the
administrative duties connected with the collective bargaining
process have been delegated to the executive branch of government;
and
WHEREAS, under the terms and provisions of this ordinance the
final responsibility for the collective bargaining process remains
with the City Council; and
WHEREAS, to maintain the proper knowledge and understandi�,
of the negotiation process it is necessary that the City CounciZ
receive timely reports of the status of the negotiations ; and
WHEREAS, under the terms and provisions of said Ordinance
No. 15425 the executive branch has the duty to make periodic reports
to the City Council on the status of progress of collective bargain-
ing 'process ; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council that these reports
be made on a bi-weekly basis , now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Pau1 hei�eT�
directs that the administrative branch of the city government
provide the City Council with bi-weekly reports on the status and
progress of the collective bargaining process .
