RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a. form to be a.pproved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pa,y out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-420-000, to:
l. Gregory J. Kern and Cheryl A. Kern the sum of
$228.00 in full settlement of their claim of damages
susta.ined on or about February 22, 1974, a.s more
particularly set out in a. communication to the City
Council on May 31, 1974.
2. Robert F. Thoma.s the sum of $90.00 in full settlement
of his cla.im of damages sustained on or about Apri1 l6,
1974, as more particularly set out in a communica.tion
to the C ity Counc il on Ma.y 14, 1974.
3. Glen I. Breuninger and Jean A. Breuninger the sum
of $300.00 in full settl�ment of their claim of
damages sustained on or a.bout April 25, 1974, as
more particularly set out in a. communica.tion to
the City Council on Ma,y 7, 1974.

CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY GERGORY J. KERN AND CHERYL A. KERN;
ROBERT F. THOMAS; AND GLEN I. BREUNINGER
AND JEAN A. BREUNINGER
Claimants, Gregory J. and Cheryl A. Kern, request the
refund of the storage fee they pa.id for their boat,
motor and trailer. The boat, motor, and trailer were
confiscated by the Saint Paul Police Department at
their place of storage. Liability is on the part of
the City. This office approves the settlement of
Mr. and Mrs. Kern' s claim in the amount of $228.00
Claimant, Robert F. Thomas, requests reimbursement for
da.mage to his motor vehicle when it fell into an old
catch basin>on April 16, 1974. Liability is on the
part of the City: This office approves the settlement
of Mr. Thomas ' claim in the amount of $90.00
Claimants, Glen I. Breuninger and Jean A. Breuninger,
request reimbursement for dama.ge to their motor vehicle
when Mrs. Breuninger was involved in an accident with
a. Department of Public Works vehicle. Lia.bility is on
the part of the City. This office approves Mr. and Mrs.
Breuninger' s claim in the amount of $300.00.
