WHEREAS, The City Council, in accordance with Section 231.07
of the Legislative Code� and to cornply with the Metropolitan Sewer
Service Board' s method of charging local governing bodies for Reserve
Capa.city Cha.rges, adopted Resolution C. F. 260524 on Janua.ry 23, 1973
(Cha.pter A-7, Administrative Code), which established the Service
Availability Charges (SAC) as being $275.00 per unit,° and the Metro-
politan Sewer Service Board has increased the unit cha.rges for the
year 1974 to $300.00 per unit; now� therefore, be it
RESOLVED� Tha.t Council Resolution, C. F. 260524, adopted
January 23, 1973, be and the same is hereby amended so as to increase
the SAC unit charge from $275.00 to read $300.00 per unit; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� Tha.t said Resolution, C. F. 260524, is amended so
as to delete the last paragraph thereof, and insert the following in its
place:
"Resolved, Tha.t any person applying for a building permit
shall be entitled to receive SAC unit credits to be ap-
plied to the charges required by this resolwtion if a
demolition permit had been issued for the sa�ne site; pro-
vided, howeve�, tha.t such credits sha.11 not be given for
any demolition permits issued prior to January 1, 1973.
The credits given sha.11 be based an the immediately pre�
ceding use of the site, and the SAC credit sha.11 be
determined by the number of SAC units which the previous
structure was discha.rging into the sewer system� but in
no event .s�ha.11 the number of SAC unit credits exce�d the
number of r�ew SAC unit cha.rges for specific building or
land use site,"

FURTHER RESOLVED Th�t tl�is amending resolution sha.11 take effect
and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
