RESOLVED� That in accordance with Section 231.07 dealing
with Sewer Service Availability Charges (SAC)! the Council does
hereby set a public hearing on the proposed increase of SAC charges
from $275.00 per unit to $300.00 per unit, to be held on Friday,
Janua.ry 11, 1974, at 10:00 A.M. , in the Council Cha.mbers, and the
City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said hearing;
the publication of which is to be ha.d at least seven days before the
hearing.

RE: Metro Sewer Board - Increased SAC Cha ges for 1974
The Metro Sewer Board ha.s increased the SAC charges to
the City of Saint Paul and other communities from $275.00
to $300.00 in 1974. The City Administrator and Public
Works Depa.rtment have requested tha.t a hearing be held
before the City Council on Janua.ry 11 so as to consider
adopting a resolution raising the SAC cha.rges in con-
formance with the Metro Sewer Board policy. On behalf
of the Department of Public Works, I request that you
present the attached resolution to the City Council on
January 2 so tha.t seven days ' published notice ma.y be
given prior to the public hearing.
