RESOLVED, That pursuant to the authority contained in Minnesota Statutes,
Section 475.71, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize th�
Mayor, the Director of Finance and Management Services, and the City Clerk to issue
registered bonds of the City of Saint Paul to Yosemite Insurance Company and the
Director of Insurance, State of South Dakota, in exchange for coupon bonds in the
amount of $5;000 each, described as follows:
1. General Improvement Bonds, Series No. 10, 3.25%, due August 1, 1988, with
2/1/74 and SCA, Numbered 59688/91, inclusive;
2. Joint Hospital Facilities Bonds, Series No. 3, 3.25%� due August 1, 1988,
with 2/1/74 and SCA, Numbered 58674;
3. Sewage Disposal System Bonds, �962, Series A, 3.25�, due August 1, 1988,
witih 2/1j74 and SCA, Numbered 60367/71, inclusive;
said registered bonds to be issued at the Office of the Department of Finance and
Management Services and to be done under the direction and supervision of the
Sinking Fund Committee; provided, however, that such register�d bonds, so issued,
shall not incur any new liability on the City or extend the t�me of m aturity of
the coupon bonds which have been authorized or issued, and in place of which they
are ordered issued, but shall only bind the City in the same manner and to the same
exten� as bound by said coupon bonds, or as provided in and by� Chapter 475, Minne-
sota Statuzes; the manner of cancellation of such surrenderedlcoupon bonds and the
form of registered bonds to be as prescribed by the Sinking Fund Committee. The
Department of Finance and Management Services is authorized to pay current interest
on such registered bonds by check.
