WHEREAS The City Council by its Resolution C. F. 263193,
adopted Ma.rc�. 6, 1974, authorized the submission to the Governor's
Crime Commission by the Mayor of an application for Grant �'unds
for the project entitled "Minnesota Youth Advoca.cy Corps", said
program to be administered by Independent School District No. 625;
now� therefore� be it
RESOLVED� Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby authorize the proper City officers to execute on beha.lf of
the City a Grant Agreement with the State of Minnesota Governor�s
Commission on Crime Prevention and Control� Grant No. 4317716174�
�dated the 31st day of May, 1974r� pertaining to the project entitled
Minnesota Youth Advoca.cy Corps , providing the City with the sum
of $74,954.00 and requiring that the City enter into a Third Party
t�greement with the Independent School District No. 625, providing
that the program will be implemented by the said Independent School
District �No. 625, and that the local sha.re in the amount of $68,953.00
will be provided by the said Independent School District No. 625;
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED9 That the proper City officers be and are
hereby authorized to execute a Third Party Agreement between the
City and. Independent School District No. 625, providing for the
implementation of the said Grant Agreement in accordance with the
terms and conditions of said Grant Agreement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to take all actions necessary and proper to comply with the
terms and co�.ditions of the Grant Agreement and to enforce the terms
and conditions thereof as part of the above-referenced Third Party
Agreement.
