WHEREAS, representation of the P, L, O, in the United Nati.ons
constitutes a recogniti.on and endorsement of illegal and inhumane
terrorist acti.vities against innocent civilians around the world; and
WHEREAS, Ambassador to the United Nations John Scali has
been commended for his heroic oppositi.on to admission of the P, L, O.
to the United Nati.ons; so, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, tha.t this Council, on its own beha,lf and on behalf
of the people of St. Paul, enthusiasti.cally endorses the action of the
United States delegation and expresses its full sugpor-t €er-contrnued
opposition to terrorism, sabotage, and violence spansored by the
P. L. O.
