Service, 601 Rice Street, be approved with the following conditions:

Board) zoning rules. Vehicle parts (tires, oil, or similar items) will not be stored outside. Trash will be
stored in a dumpster.
Vehicle salvage is prohibited by CAAPB zoning rules.
All vehicles on the lot should be licensed and operable.
All vehicle parked outdoors on the lot must appeaz completely assembled with no major body parts

The meeting was called to order at 11:06 a.m.
STAFF PRESENT: Corinne Asuncion, LIEP (License, Inspections, Environmental Protection);
JeffHawkins, LIEP; Kristine Schweinler, LIEP; Hoa Young, PED (Platming and Economic
Development)
Gerry Strathman stated this meeting is being held to hear objections to a license applica6on
requested by Thanh T. Mai, doing business as Jordon's Auto Service, 601 Rice Street.
(Hoa Young provided the interpreting service at this meeting.)
Kristine Schweinler, Senior License Inspector, appeazed and stated the licensing staff recommends
approval with ten conditions, which are as follows:
1) Erect a new four to five foot obscuring fence around the lot west of the building by June 15,

and Planning Board), 204 Administration Building, 50 5herburue Avenue, appeared and stated he
has no objections to these conditions. He wanted to complement the new owners in the job they
have done to improve the site. He offered his assistance in what the fence should look like.
Tait Danielson, District 7 Planning Council, Capitol Heights Block Club, 20 Winter Street,
appeared and stated he would approve the license application as long as the condirions are agreed
to.

wrote about several concerns, all of which are addressed in the proposed conditions.
The following appeared: Khomh Tan Le, building owner, 1965 Conway Street, and Thanh T.
Mai, business owner.
Mr. Strathman asked did they understand LIEP is recommending the license be approved with the
conditions tbat were read earlier. Mr. Le and Mr. Mai responded in the affrmative.
Mr. Strathman asked is the business owner agreeable to those condirions. NIr. Mai responded
yes.
Gerry Strathman recommended approval or the license application with the conditions listed on
Page 1.
